Bell Broadcast And New Media Fund
The Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund will operate nationally effective immediately. Eligible Canadian independent producers of television and new media from across Canada may now apply to the Bell Fund for financial support. Previously the Bell Fund was restricted to producers resident in either Ontario or Quebec.

Business Development Bank Of Canada
The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) is Canada's small business bank. BDC plays a leadership role in delivering timely and relevant financial and management services, with a particular focus on the emerging and exporting sectors of the economy. The BDC's services are available across Canada in both English and French through a network of more than 80 branches, and its head office in Montreal. Of particular note may be their Young Entrepreneur Financing Program.

The Canada Council For The Arts
The Canada Council is an independent, arm's length organization created by the Parliament of Canada in 1957 to foster and promote the arts. The Council provides a wide range of grants and services to: professional Canadian artists including musicians, writers, dance artists, theatre artists, visual artists (including architects, critics and curators, and photographers), media artists, and artists who work in an interdisciplinary manner; presenters in music, theatre and dance; and arts organizations in music, writing, publishing, dance, theatre, visual arts and media arts.

CANARIE Inc. is a not-for-profit, industry-led and managed consortium which was created as an innovative way for the federal government, the research community and the private sector to collaborate in stimulating the development of the Information Highway in Canada. CANARIE has announced three new funding competitions as a part of its continuing effort to stimulate information highway activities in a variety of areas. Each of these competitions is unique in several respects, thereby presenting CANARIE and its stakeholder communities with an opportunity to experiment with innovations in the focuses and procedures for its funding programs.

FACTOR - The Foundation To Assist Canadian Talent On Records
FACTOR, The Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent on Records, was founded in 1982 by CHUM Limited, Moffat Communications and Rogers Broadcasting Limited, in conjunction with the Canadian Independent Record Producers Association (CIRPA) and the Canadian Music Publishers Association (CMPA). Standard Broadcasting merged its Canadian Talent Library (CTL) development fund with FACTOR's in 1985. The purpose of this site is to distribute application forms for all of the FACTOR programs and approved application documentation.

Nova Scotia Film Development Corporation: Financial Incentives
The Nova Scotia Film Development Corporation has several different financial incentive programs, all of which, to varying degrees, may be involved in a Nova Scotia production. These programs are accessible to Nova Scotia producers who may be acting alone or in co-productions with out-of-Province producers. In all cases, the Corporation's main interest is in ensuring development of the capacity and ownership of resident Nova Scotia producers.
